Our Recruitment Journey

This process may vary depending on the role, however the Talent Team will inform you of the next steps as you go through the process.
Inevitably, not every candidate can be successful. Our commitment is to keep you informed of the status of your application in a timely manner.

This part is quick and easy, and is completed through Team Tailor!
Once you have found the role that appeals to you on our list of vacancies, you can click 'Apply for this role' which will prompt you to complete a short application form, and will request for you to attach your CV, cover letter and any other additional files that are relevant for the role.
Once this has been submitted, your application will go to the Hiring Manager to review. We will then be in touch to let you know about the next steps.

Here we make sure what you are looking for aligns with this role and life at MV. A member of our Talent Team will share info on team structure, company culture, salary and location and anything else you want to know!
This will take place on Google Meet and usually lasts around 20 minutes.

For seasonal and peak hiring across our Retail and Customer Care teams, we run Assessment Centres.
During the Assessment Centre, you will take part in group tasks, role plays and one-to-one interviews.

The next step of the process will be to complete a task, which is designed to give you greater insight into the skills needed for this role.
You choose when you would like to complete the task, as we want to ensure you are able to give your full focus and attention to achieve your best.

This is where you find out more about the role and the team and get to meet the person who manages the role.
If at any point there is anything to prepare, such as coming to the interview ready to talk through your task submission, this will be shared with you ahead of time.
This will often be conducted via a video call.
If you are going for a role in Operations this will be in our Warehouse in Acton.

Where possible, we try to hold final interviews in person, in the location you will be based in.

If the process has been a success, an offer will be made by phone call by a member of our Talent Team.
In this call, they will confirm the details of the offer, and will give you a chance to ask any questions you may have. The offer will be followed up in writing, so you have all the information you need to begin your journey at MV.

There is no specific dress code when attending an interview at MV, wear whatever you feel comfortable in to make you feel your best.
Our dress code across our locations is towards the business side of casual, so smarter jeans are absolutely fine and accessorising with MV pieces is encouraged!

As you progress through the recruitment journey, you will be sent a preparation document by our Talent Team, which will give you some top tips on preparing for your interview.
