Job Title: Piercer (Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Nordstrom Concession Locations - Mission Viejo

Timeframe: 6-8 Weeks

Hours: Part Time (24-32 hours weekly)

Hourly Rate: $25-27 based on level of experience + Commission Eligible

Reporting To: Concession Manager

This Part-Time (FTC) role is an exciting opportunity to bring an elevated piercing experience to our Nordstrom Mission Viejo location. Your skill, experience and knowledge will help us deliver an unparalleled service to our customers in a fun, accessible, luxury environment. This role is an amazing opportunity for someone who is passionate about service and piercing to join a business with amazing values and great opportunities to be involved in an exciting new initiative

What you’ll do

• Deliver warm, welcoming and inviting customer service, making our customers feel relaxed and comfortable in our beautifully designed piercing spaces

• Confidently style and advise our customers on their piercing/s and jewelry needs, using our exclusively designed products, to help them achieve their desired look

• Provide piercings to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, making customers feel confident in your skill and experience

• Ensure compliance with all necessary guidelines and best practises, prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of our customers

• Support the aftercare process, confidently resolving any problems customers may experience

• Consult and guide our Retail Operations team on legal, technical and safety measures in California

• Guide, support and train our Sales Associates and other team members about the world of piercing

• Support in the retail environment as required, driving appointments to the piercing studio

What you’ll bring

• A customer focused mindset, putting them first in all you do

• An understanding and appreciation of the luxury service environment

• Extensive experience in piercing, demonstrated through an up to date portfolio (Instagram/Facebook/Website)

• Demonstrable knowledge of piercing standards and regulations in California

• A clean, professional and service oriented approach

• Must be licensed to work in California

• A passion for sharing your knowledge with others, willing to help and advise different areas of the business

Travel Requirements

Flexibility to travel to other locations within the US as required
