Seasonal Retail Recruitment
Add your sparkle to our festive season.
Looking for a seasonal role?
We are looking for enthusiastic, talented and customer obsessed individuals to join us as Sales Associates across our busy peak period. These roles are based in our UK boutiques and concessions, with the aim of delighting every customer we meet during our busiest (and most wonderful) time of the year.
Here's the lowdown on what you'd be doing...
Our Sales Associates are at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences in our retail locations. After receiving training to familiarise you with our collections and the systems we use in store, you will assist our customers during our busy 'peak' season, marked by our annual Black Friday promotion and holiday gifting period. You will surprise and delight our customers by going the extra mile to help them to choose which piece (or pieces!) to add to their collection or to give as a gift, extending our warm, welcoming hospitality to each and every person who walks through the door.
Within your location, you'll be part of a team of Sales Associates (including both seasonal and longer-standing members of Team MV), led by experienced managers.
If you're interested, give the rest of this page a read and take a look at the open vacancies below.

In return, we offer:
- Real Living Wage hourly pay (London or National, depending on role)
- Commission scheme
- Generous discount on our pieces
- Membership to the Perkbox platform, offering perks, discounts and free wellness content
- A supportive culture. We have high expectations, but we also know how to have fun together and to celebrate the wins!
- Opportunities for continuous learning

Locations, Hours and Contract Types
-
Our seasonal roles are based in our UK boutiques and concessions. You can see a list of these further up the page.
When submitting your application, you will be invited to choose which location(s) would be of interest to you.
-
In order to provide support when our customers need us the most, we have a range of hours and working patterns available. The roles range from 12 - 40 hours per week, with a range of working patterns within this. Some roles will have set days we need support (e.g. weekends), others will need someone who is available on any day.
You'll be asked to let us know your availability in your application form, and this will help us to match you to any suitable roles.
-
We are running two intakes of seasonal new joiners this year:
12 week contracts will begin in the week commencing 20th October and run through to 11th January.
8 week contracts will begin in the week commencing 27th October and run through to 28th December.
It is really important that we hire seasonal staff who are fully available throughout these contracts, with no holiday booked. Our Retail locations do not open on Christmas Day, and re-open on Boxing Day. You will accrue holiday hours that would be paid to you at the end of your contract.
For the interview process, London candidates need to be available to attend an assessment centre in Central London on 19th and 22nd September. We can offer morning and afternoon sessions, and you will be asked to let us know your availability when you apply.
-
We often have a number of longer fixed term contracts or permanent roles to recruit for, and we try where possible to recruit from within our existing community. Towards the end of our seasonal contracts, we would publish any available roles and set a deadline for internal applications.
Recruitment Process
-
Step One: Application
You send us an application for our seasonal vacancies. The application form will ask you some questions about availability, hours and location, so that we can match candidates to roles effectively.
-
Step Two: Assessment Centre or Interview
We will be inviting suitable London candidates to an Assessment Centre session at our offices, located on the Strand.
The only dates these will run are 19th and 22nd September.
At the Assessment Centre, you will meet members of our Retail Management and Talent teams, and take part in group tasks and individual interviews.
Our regional roles are managed locally, and you would be invited to an interview instead of an Assessment Centre.
-
Step Three: Onboarding
Successful candidates will be offered one of the available roles, with one of two start dates.
12 week contracts will begin in the week commencing 20th October and run through to 11th January.
8 week contracts will begin in the week commencing 27th October and run through to 28th December.
You'll be provided with all the documents you need at the offer stage, and will be given more information on what your onboarding looks like.
Candidates who do not progress to this stage initially may be kept on a reserve list. The calibre of candidates is always incredibly high, and we often end up with more than one candidate who could be a good fit for each position.

What makes a great seasonal candidate?

- Working well as part of a team, both in terms of being a supportive and caring team player as well as being able to take direction from your manager
